DOSIRCD

A feature-rich Internet Relay Chat (IRC) server for DOS.

DOSIRCD is a DOS-compatible Internet Relay Chat (IRC) server application. It allows you to use a DOS-based PC as old as an 8088 to function as a complete small-scale dedicated IRC server. It is compliant with RFC 1459, with the notable exception of no ability to link servers together as one network. It is purely designed for stand-alone usage.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the only IRC server available for DOS in the whole world. Please let me know if I am wrong about this! It also includes a completely integrated services suite including NickServ, ChanServ, and OperServ.

In the current build, only NickServ is functional. Sorry! The rest will be ready to go soon. These are technically labelled "pre-release" for a reason.
